Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the Everett Election commission are happy to announce that residents, once again, have the option to vote early at Everett City Hall this year. Early voting begins on Monday, October 22nd and will continue through Friday, November 2nd. To accommodate residents, Mayor DeMaria, Registrar of Voters Maureen DiPierro, and the Election Commission decided to offer additional hours on Saturday, October 27th and Friday, November 2nd. (During weekend & Friday hours, only the parking lot entrance to City Hall will be open) All Early voting will take place in the Keverian Room on the 3rd floor of City Hall. Early voting offers you a chance to avoid congestion at polling locations on election night, which is Tuesday November 6th. You do not need to offer a reason for early voting, but you must be a registered voter. Not sure if you are registered? Call 617-394-2297 for information on your voting status.
Mayor DeMaria stated, “It is critically important that everyone exercises their right to vote. We are privileged to have been given this right by our Founding Fathers and for over 200 years our country has always had a peaceful transition of power by voting you help to continue that tradition and have a say in our government.”
