To all interested parties in the Planning Board Report and Ordinance further amending the zoning ordinances of the City of Everett by changing the zoning district designation from apartment to business district at 1739 Revere Beach Parkway; with a favorable recommendation.

Legislative Affairs & Elections Committee Report on AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANIMAL CONTROL LAWS IN THE CITY OF EVERETT; with a favorable recommendation as amended further with the revisions proposed by Councilor Capone.

Committee of the Whole Report on Order that the City of Everett and the Everett City Council endorses the findings of the Everett Housing Production Plan and will work toward compliance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40B, in accordance with such Plan; with a recommendation for favorable action.

Committee on Ways & Means Report-That the City Auditor provide to the City Council's Committee on Ways & Means, at their first meeting in December, a breakdown of current overtime paid out this fiscal year from City Services; with a recommendation to refer back to Sponsor.

Committee on Ways & Means Report on Order to transfer $94,066.00 from the Budgetary Fund Balance (Free Cash) into the following City Accounts to fund salaries and expenses into the newly created Office of Gaming Accountability and Development for the remainder of this fiscal year: Salaries $67,500.00 and Expenses $26,566.00, totaling $94,066.00.

Regulating and establishing Junk Collectors Licenses in the City of Everett, with a recommendation for favorable action with the amendment to include bottles and cans into the language in Section 1 paragraph 1. Enrolled, before you for Ordainment, as amended.

The members of the School Committee shall receive an annual salary of eleven thousand and five hundred dollars ($11,500) to take effect upon the organization of the city government following the 2015 municipal election. (Enrolled, before you for Ordainment.)

To request information on the effect of snow melting at Florence Street Park from the Director of City Services. (3/9 Referred to City Services Director to appear this meeting, the 23rd.)

That the Water Department produce all abatements issued in 2013 and 2014 and have a member of the Board appear April 13th meeting.

That the City explore the "Mass Growth Capital Corporation". This Agency makes micro-loans to help business affected by recent snowstorms. To refer to Mayor's Office and Community Development with a request for a reply for April 13th meeting.

That the City set up a "Victims Fund" for Taxpayers who feel they have been unfairly treated regarding property, water, code enforcement. This gives a person the opportunity to have a lawyer to fight against government which spends unlimited money. (With a request to sent to the Legislative Affairs Committee.)

To find out how much money the City pays out to outside lawyers (disregarding casino issues) to prosecute and defend the Mayor of Everett. (With a request to refer to Mr. Viscay (City Auditor) for a reply April 13th meeting.)

To find out what is Wynn Corporation's obligation, tax wise, on all newly acquired land; and what will their tax obligation be to the City. (Refer to the Board of Assessors for a response April 13th meeting)

City Services and/or City Auditor submit a break down on individual snow removal contractors and overtime paid, with a request for a reply for April 13th meeting.

That all politicians and candidates for mayor, council, school committee stop taking donations from all employed people in the City and Schools, all licensed businesses, and all service companies that have to go out to bid. (With a request to send to the Legislative Affairs Committee.)

To request that the Mayor consider looking into having computer classes for Everett residents of all ages.

Maintenance Requests from City Council 3/23/15

a. The sidewalk at the exit to the Norwood Street parking lot be repaired. ( Refer to DPW).
b. The DO NOT ENTER sign at the end of Union Ave be replaced as it is missing. (Refer to DPW).
c. That the Traffic Commission place a 30 minute parking spot for Angelo's Touch Hairstyling at 30 Norwood Street. ( Refer to Traffic Commission).

That a representative from City Services and a representative from the City Solicitor's Office appear at out next council meeting to discuss any warranty or other avenue of recourse available against the contractor that recently painted the crosswalks throughout the City as the same are faded and in poor condition.

That a representative from Verizon appear at out first council meeting in April to discuss the reason for delay in responding to the displaced Verizon wires that are hanging in the public way on Thorndike Street.
