DESCRIPTION:Calling all artists! Express what Black History Month means to you in our art contest!\nIn celebration of Black History Month\, Mayor Carlo DeMaria invites Everett students in grades 5-12 to participate in our art contest. \nHere’s how it will work\nParticipants will be divided into 2 divisions: \n\nStudents in grades 5-8\nStudents in grades 9-12\n\nOur panel of judges will decide which creations they like best. Each division winner will receive a Target gift card! \nHere’s what you need to do\n\nCreate a 12″ x 12″ picture on paper or canvas that expresses what Black History Month means to you.\nBring your picture to the Rec Center by 1:30 p.m. on the day of the event.\nBe creative and have fun!\n\nCelebrations for all to partake in\nIn addition to the art contest\, come view our photo gallery to learn about important Black athletes who have impacted their communities outside of the playing field.
