SUMMARY:Independence Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Everett’s Annual Independence Day Celebration as we gather to honor our nation’s birthday—and this year’s historic 250th anniversary of American independence. \nEnjoy an evening packed with family-friendly activities\, including a community barbecue from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM\, live entertainment\, face painting\, balloon artists\, inflatable attractions\, games\, giveaways\, and more. The celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display beginning at 9:30 PM\, lighting up the night sky in a dazzling display of color. \nFireworks explode above Glendale Park with a huge crowd of onlookers. \nDoll Carriage\, Bicycle\, and Wagon Decorating Contest\nThe Everett City Council is proud to continue this beloved community tradition as part of the evening’s festivities. \nChildren are invited to decorate a bicycle\, wagon\, stroller\, doll carriage\, or similar non-motorized entry and showcase their creativity during a parade in front of the event stage. Participants should arrive with their decorated entry between 5:30 PM and 5:55 PM to ensure inclusion in the contest. \nPlease note: Participants must be 13 years old or younger. \nChildren walk with their decorated wagon at Glendale Park. \nCelebrate Together\nFamilies\, friends\, and neighbors are encouraged to come together for an evening of food\, entertainment\, and community spirit.
