DESCRIPTION:Mayor Carlo DeMaria Presents Concerts in the Park!\nAll are invited to enjoy live music performances in a series of concerts at Wehner Park throughout the summer \nThe gazebo at Wehner Park where the concerts will take place. \nMayor Carlo DeMaria is pleased to announce the City of Everett will be hosting Smokin’ Joe & The Henchmen for the third concert in a series that will take place throughout the months of July and August. \nAll are invited to join us for an evening of listening to cool music performed by a different artist or band on a warm summer night at Lt. Joseph Wehner Park\, which is located between Lynn Street and Broadway. Refreshments will be provided at the concerts and there will be a limited number of seats available to attendees. However\, those who are planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the live outdoor entertainment. Refreshments will be served. \n“The concerts in the park are always a great opportunity for residents to get outside and enjoy a beautiful day with family\, friends and others in our community\,” said Mayor DeMaria. “We have some spectacular performances lined up that residents will be sure to enjoy.” \nAll of the concerts will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wehner Park. \nJoin us for these other concerts!\n\nThursday\, July 6: Listen to the sounds of Folk Rock duo Knock on Wood.\nThursday\, July 13: A performance by Everett’s own Vinny Calderone & The “Good To Go” Band.\nThursday\, August 17: Everett’s own Maria Guanci and acoustic duo: Biagio & Major.

DESCRIPTION:Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the Greater Boston Nepali Community Present Nepal Day!\nThe City of Everett partnered with the Greater Boston Nepali Community to host an event for all at Glendale Park \nMayor Carlo DeMaria is pleased to announce the City of Everett has partnered with the Greater Boston Nepali Community (GBNC) to host Nepal Day on Sunday\, August 6\, 2023\, at Glendale Park\, Elm Street. \nAll are invited to celebrate Everett’s growing Nepali community at this event that promises to be a fun day of dance\, food and live music representing the Nepali people and culture. \n“We are proud to partner with the Greater Boston Nepali Community to host Nepal Day in the City of Everett\,” said Mayor DeMaria. “This is a great opportunity for all residents to come together as a community to celebrate and learn more about Nepali culture and partake in all this event has to offer.” \nThe GBNC is a thriving association of Nepalis and friends of Nepal living in and around the Boston area. Over 600 people comprise this diverse group of students\, professionals\, families and workers. \nIn case of inclement weather\, the rain date for this event is Sunday\, August 13.
