DESCRIPTION:Image from the 2014 Inaugural Exercises. \nOn Monday\, January 5\, 2026\, the City of Everett will hold the official Inaugural Exercises to swear in the elected officials who will serve our community for the 2026–2027 term. This event marks the beginning of Mayor-elect Robert Van Campen’s first term leading the city\, as well as the start of a new session for your City Council and School Committee members. This event is free\, and the public is encouraged to join. \nImmediately following the ceremony (starting around 7:00 PM)\, please join us in the Everett High School Cafeteria for a community reception with light refreshments.
