Community Fitness Center
The Everett Community Fitness Center was launched my Mayor Carlo DiMaria in 2099 in the center of the city at the former high school. The center is open weekdays from 5am to 8pm and weekends from 7am to 1pm. Classes are available for people of all ages and fitness levels and include boxing, yoga, Zumba, circuit training and more. Members can also access nutritional counseling, fitness assessments, and educational seminars.

The eastern coyote can be found through Massachusetts, except on the islands. This medium-sized predator can thrive in suburban, urban, and rural areas.
Energize Everett
Energize Everett is dedicated to working closely with community partners and individuals to implement programs in a way that is fair and equitable to all of Everett’s residents. We operate under a racial justice and health equity framework where change starts at the community level, working towards a city that is safe and environmentally healthy.
Health Information
The Office of Health and Wellness oversees the Community Health and Wellness Center, its fitness and nutrition programs, as well as Community Recreation and the Energize Everett initiative.
Substance Use Disorder
The City collaborates with community partners through education, prevention, and treatment strategies to assist in current substance use disorder epidemic. Our goal is to gather data about the epidemic and apply support services to those who are in need of prevention and treatment interventions.
Youth Development & Enrichment
Programs provided by the Community Recreation department include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, dance, sport-specific training, toddler playgroups, tumbling, and youth boxing.
