PLD-26-61 Wicked Cool Mystic II- Cooling Interventions

Description:

The City of Everett is seeking sealed bids for the installation of an overhead pergola, reinforced cement concrete pad footings, site furnishings, drinking water fountains, and related landscape improvements.

All work is subject to the requirements of M.G.L c. 30, § 39M and all other applicable provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws.

A 5% bid deposit is required. Prevailing Wage Rates apply. OSHA-10 Certification is required for all workers on site. The successful bidder must furnish a 50% Payment Bond in the contract sum with a corporate surety approved by the Owner (City of Everett).

Specifications, bid documents, required certifications and instructions will be available beginning December 10, 2025 for download at City of Everett Purchasing Dept. Website after 10:00 AM.

Please note, that the Prevailing Wage Rates are included within the Bid Document and Required Construction Certifications that must be submitted with your (sealed) bid are attached in the tab below.  It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to register as a plan holder. All addenda will be posted on the City’s website; failure to acknowledge addenda may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.

Sealed Bids, clearly marked “PLD-26-61- Wicked Cool Mystic II- Cooling Interventions” will be received until January 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM (Addenda #3) at the Procurement Department City Hall, Room 14, 484 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.

Project Estimate: $80,000

Deadline for Questions:  December 26, 2025 by 4:00 P.M

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities when deemed in the best interest of the City.
