City of Everett Social Media Policy
City social media pages are limited public forums for sharing information and engaging with the community. They are not open public forums, so the City may remove content that violates guidelines, disrupts discussion, or threatens safety. These guidelines establish standards for public participation that respect free speech while maintaining a safe, respectful environment for all community members.
These guidelines apply to all City of Everett official social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and any future platforms the City may utilize.
