3rd Annual G.I.R.L.S. Day

Join us for the City of Everett’s third annual G.I.R.L.S. Day where young women will participate in fun activities and learn about careers in public safety!
The City of Everett, Alliance Security, Everett Fire Department, Everett Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, State Police Association for Massachusetts, and Tufts University Department of Public Safety, are pleased to announce their partnership in hosting G.I.R.L.S. Day 2024!
G.I.R.L.S. stands for Grit, Intelligence, Resilience, Leadership and Strength. Through this event, the goal is to empower Everett youth girls from ages 5 to 14 years old to explore these typically male-dominated careers as options for them too.
Young women will participate in activities like mock crime scene investigations, visits to the fire house, physical exercises, finger printing, obstacle courses and so much more.
