Mayor Carlo DeMaria is pleased to announce that the City of Everett will be collecting donations of essential and everyday items to benefit the Massachusetts Veterans Home at Chelsea.
The donation drive will run from Monday, December 1 through Friday, December 12 at the Edward G. Connolly Center (90 Chelsea St.).
About the Initiative
This effort is a partnership between the Council on Aging (COA) and the Department of Veterans Services. The goal is to provide comfort and care to veterans by collecting new and unused items that will help meet their daily needs throughout the winter season.
All donated items must be in their original packaging to be accepted.
