Enjoy an evening packed with family-friendly activities, including a community barbecue from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, live entertainment, face painting, balloon artists, inflatable attractions, games, giveaways, and more. The celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display beginning at 9:30 PM, lighting up the night sky in a dazzling display of color.

Doll Carriage, Bicycle, and Wagon Decorating Contest
The Everett City Council is proud to continue this beloved community tradition as part of the evening’s festivities.
Children are invited to decorate a bicycle, wagon, stroller, doll carriage, or similar non-motorized entry and showcase their creativity during a parade in front of the event stage. Participants should arrive with their decorated entry between 5:30 PM and 5:55 PM to ensure inclusion in the contest.
Please note: Participants must be 13 years old or younger.

Celebrate Together
Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to come together for an evening of food, entertainment, and community spirit. Whether you join us for the full celebration or come just for the fireworks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Independence Day commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, marking the birth of the United States as an independent nation. This year, communities across the country will celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence, and the City of Everett is proud to be part of this historic milestone.
