Everett City Hall will remain closed to the public on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and Thursday, Sept. 10 as the City continues to respond to a cybersecurity incident affecting its internal network and technology systems.
Basic municipal services will be available at the Connolly Center, 90 Chelsea St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Residents can park on Spring Street in the stadium parking lot and use the back entrance, which is handicap accessible.
The following departments will be available to conduct business at the Connolly Center:
- Treasurer/Collector
- Assessor
- City Clerk
- Engineering
- Auditing
- Procurement
- Inspectional Services Department (ISD)
- Housing Assistance
- Parking
Residents who need assistance or have questions about accessing City services during the temporary closure should call 311.
“Our IT professionals and investigators are working around the clock to restore City operations as quickly and safely as possible,” said Mayor Robert J. Van Campen. “In the meantime it is crucial that we mitigate disruptions wherever we can. We know residents still need to get things done, and our goal is to make sure we’re there for them while we work through this.”
Everett Police, Everett Fire, the Department of Public Works, Everett Public Schools and Everett Public Libraries will continue to operate as normal.
