UPDATE – September 17: Everett City Hall will reopen to the public on Monday, September 21. Regular municipal services will once again be available at 484 Broadway during normal business hours.
“We know this has been an inconvenience for our residents, and I want to thank everyone for their patience while our teams worked around the clock to safely get us to this point,” said Mayor Robert J. Van Campen. “I’m also incredibly grateful to our City employees who stepped up and found ways to continue serving residents throughout the closure. We’re excited to open our doors and welcome everyone back to City Hall.”
The City was able to contain the cybersecurity incident before it spread further, and only a very small amount of City data was impacted. The City continues to work closely with its vendors and cybersecurity experts to determine whether any personal information was involved. This process can take time, and anyone identified as being impacted will be notified directly.

Everett City Hall will remain closed to the public through Thursday, September 17, as the City continues to respond to a cybersecurity incident affecting its internal network and technology systems.
