The City of Everett is inviting residents to design a new official “I Voted” sticker. The contest has two categories, Youth (under 18) and Adult (18 and older), and is a chance for residents to celebrate civic participation and share what Everett means to them.

“Taking part in our community starts with showing up, and voting is one of the most meaningful ways to do that,” said Mayor Robert J. Van Campen. “This contest invites everyone in Everett, from our youngest artists to our longtime residents, to put their creativity behind that idea. I encourage every resident to enter a design, join the contest vote, and make sure their voice is heard at the ballot box.”

Each resident may submit up to three original designs. Designs must include the words “I Voted” and be nonpartisan. Youth entries must include a parent or guardian permission form, completed and signed at the time of submission. Entries without it cannot be considered.

Key dates

  • Entries due: Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
  • Public voting: October 22–26, 2026. Voting closes at 12:00 p.m. on October 26.
  • Winners announced: October 27, 2026

The winning designs in each category will be printed as official City of Everett “I Voted” stickers, and the top three designs in each category will receive a certificate from Everett City Hall.
